As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in the success of our restaurant. You will use your sound judgment and follow-through on commitments to anticipate and address any problems or issues that may arise. Your passion and working knowledge of food, liquor, beer, and wine will be put to good use as you lead by example and maintain a guest-first focus. You will also set goals for your team, monitor their progress, and provide support and guidance to help them achieve success.
We believe in open communication and addressing issues directly and honestly. As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for clarifying roles, responsibilities, priorities, and expectations within the team. You will also assist the General Manager in planning and analyzing administration and operations manpower.
Responsibilities:
- Utilizing your strong leadership skills to anticipate and proactively address any potential issues that may arise, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
- Employing your extensive knowledge of food, liquor, beer, and wine to enhance the guest experience and lead your team by example.
- Maintaining a guest-first focus, tirelessly working to provide the highest level of service and satisfaction.
- Setting clear, achievable goals for your team, monitoring their progress, and offering the necessary support and guidance to foster their growth and success.
- Facilitating open communication within the team, clearly defining roles, responsibilities, and expectations to optimize team functionality.
- Assisting the General Manager with the planning and analysis of administration and operational staff requirements to ensure the restaurant operates efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- High school diploma; some college or degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of managerial experience preferred, preferably in the food service industry.
