Assistant General Manager – Casual Dining Restaurant, Columbia, SC

We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager who possesses a passion for the hospitality industry and has a track record of leading teams to success.
Position Overview:
The Assistant General Manager in Columbia, SC will play a critical role in managing our restaurant operations. This position requires a commitment of 50 hours per week, with the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house.
- Ensure a high standard of customer service and satisfaction.
- Oversee staff scheduling, training, and development.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory control and ordering processes.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and promptly.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a management position within the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations including financials, food safety, guest relations, and employee management.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
