Job Opportunity: Restaurant General Manager
Join our dynamic and rapidly expanding Northwest-based hospitality group as a Restaurant General Manager. We are seeking an experienced leader to helm our full-service concept with a bar, offering a competitive base salary of up to $80K. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key player in a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in the dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure seamless service and high-quality guest experiences.
- Manage and mentor a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability while maintaining brand integrity.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Handle inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies and beverages.
- Lead recruitment, training, and development of staff to build a skilled and motivated team.
- Collaborate with marketing to execute promotions and events that drive traffic and enhance customer loyalty.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a General Manager in a full-service restaurant or similar setting.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with a focus on team building and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and financial analysis.

Laura’s work in the hospitality industry started when she moved from Michigan, where she studied at Eastern Michigan University to Portland, Oregon. Her career began as the catering sales manager at the Red Lion Hotel in downtown Portland. Looking for a better fit for her family, Laura went to work for Tiffany Food service. From there, Laura went to work for the Compass Group, under the Eurest sector as a General Manager. Laura worked for the Compass group for 24 years.
