Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Execute advanced cooking techniques and prepare ingredients according to recipes, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop new menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Quality Control: Maintain the highest hygiene and safety standards in food preparation and storage, adhering to all regulatory guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to junior cooks and ensuring seamless kitchen operations.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed and minimizing waste.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in high-volume or fine-dining establishments.
- Education: Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in various cooking methods, strong knife skills, and familiarity with kitchen equipment and technology.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on quality control, with the ability to consistently produce dishes that meet our high standards.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and management.
