Job Title: Casino Manager of Cage and Credit

Location: New Orleans, LA area

Salary: $60K - $80K

Reports To: Director of Finance


Job Overview:


The Casino Cage and Credit manager will manage, supervise, and coordinate all activities related to the Casino Cage and Credit department. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with internal control procedures and state gaming regulations while providing exceptional guest service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the casino cage and credit operations, including staffing, performance management, and training and development of employees.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with policies, internal controls, and state gaming regulations.
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including bank deposits, cash transactions, and credit transactions.
  • Monitor and review credit limits and authorize credit extensions based on established criteria.
  • Ensure that all cage and credit transactions are balanced at the end of each shift and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Create and maintain positive relationships with guests and vendors, responding to inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with other casino leaders to develop and execute strategic plans that align with the organization's overall objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the casino industry, including experience in casino cage and credit operations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of state gaming regulations and internal control procedures
  • Experience in managing budgets, financial statements, and financial reporting
  • Familiarity with casino management software and point-of-sale systems


The Casino Cage and Credit manager will be expected to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and be on-call as necessary. The compensation package for the role will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications.
