Title of Position: Assistant General Manager
Job Description: Our Assistant General Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the restaurant. Ensuring customer satisfaction and a teamwork environment exhibiting our culture will be maintained by our Assistant General Manager. Maintaining a skillful team and developing them throughout their career with us is an essential undertaking of our Assistant General Manager. In order to be successful as our Assistant General Manager you must possess strong leadership skills and exemplary organizational and sanitary practices. Assuring compliance with our security and general operating policies as well as state health and safety standards will be a top priority of our Assistant General Manager as well as the supporting management team. It is required that our Assistant General Manager has experience preparing and maintaining P&L statements, controlling inventory, budgeting and growing sales through local marketing. Our Assistant General Manager will have great communication skills and have the passion to inspire and lead a great team in the restaurant.
- Minimum of 2-3 years current experience as a Restaurant Manager in a high volume (over $2m per year in sales) concept
- Ability to increase sales and build rapport in the community
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Hands-on with hiring, training, and developing hourly employees
- Excellent work ethic and drive to succeed
- The Restaurant Manager must be proficient with financials (P&L's, inventory, food/labor cost, etc.)

Rob made the transition over to the recruiting side of the business with Gecko Hospitality in 2005. Rob is responsible for the Southern California area for Gecko Hospitality. When not working, Rob likes to spend as much time as possible being outside enjoying the lifestyle that Southern California offers, spending time with his 3 daughters. Rob is big MI State and Detroit sports fan.
