Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Paymaster:

• Be the go-to person for all payroll functions, ensuring timely and accurate payments to our fantastic team members.
• Keep our employee records up-to-date, tracking new hires, terminations, and changes in job classifications.
• Prepare regular payroll reports – monthly, quarterly, and yearly – for management review.
• Stay ahead of the curve by complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements. You'll be studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on necessary actions.
• Solve payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll queries promptly and professionally.
• Work closely with HR and Finance departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.

Qualifications for the Accounting Paymaster:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years' experience in a payroll position, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office Suite.
• Solid understanding of payroll and accounting principles.
• Outstanding attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Exceptional time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
