Title of Position: Assistant Culinary Director

Job Description: As the Assistant Culinary Director, you will be responsible for managing and executing all aspects of our catering services, from menu planning to food preparation and presentation. The Assistant Culinary Director will work closely with the team to ensure exceptional service for all events, including weddings, corporate functions, and private parties. The Assistant Culinary Director's day-to-day duties will include developing new menu items, overseeing kitchen staff, maintaining food safety standards, managing inventory, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery of ingredients and supplies. As the Assistant Culinary Director, you will also be responsible for developing relationships with clients and ensuring their satisfaction with our catering services. Additionally, the Assistant Culinary Director will be expected to stay up to date with industry trends and techniques to continuously elevate our catering offerings.

Qualifications:

  • The Assistant Culinary Director must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in a high-volume catering or events setting
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience and training is required for the Assistant Culinary Director
  • The Assistant Culinary Director must have strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, vendors, and staff members is required for the Assistant Culinary Director
  • The Assistant Culinary Director must have strong knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to maintain high standards for cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen.
