Title of Position:
Job Description: You will oversee daily operations and be responsible for staff management, ensuring that all employees adhere to company policies and procedures. You will also monitor the restaurant’s financial performance and maintain budgeting goals. Additionally, you will ensure product quality control standards are met, as well as monitor and maintain the restaurant’s cleanliness. You will participate in staff recruitment and training, drink recipe development, scheduling staff shifts, resolving guest complaints, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Your responsibilities also include preparing weekly reports, managing inventory levels, and overseeing the maintenance of the establishment. The main goal of the Assistant General Manager is to support and assist the General Manager in achieving the restaurant’s vision and maintaining its standards of excellence.

Qualifications:
- The Assistant General Manager must have at least 3 years of managerial experience
- Excellent customer service skills are required for the Assistant General Manager
- The Assistant General Manager must have strong leadership and communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is required for the Assistant General Manager
- The Assistant General Manager must have proficiency in using POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite products.

Matt Bodnar began his career by quickly identifying himself has an up-and-coming Hospitality Operations Leader. From 2013 to 2018, he managed small and large-scale events on Yachts in New York Harbor, oversaw Concession-style service in a sports arena, and managed Food & Beverage at an upscale, boutique hotel in Manhattan, before moving to Philadelphia and entrenching himself in the Philly food scene.
