Title of Position: Assistant General Manager
Job Description: The Assistant General Manager is to follow our policies and procedures. Some of the principal areas of focus are: identifying talent, interviewing, hiring, and taking part in personal decisions concerning the restaurant team, and leading by example and being a role model of the standards and behaviors consistent with our values and culture. The Assistant General Manager will write schedules meeting the requirements of the business so a great customer experience is delivered. This is done while maintaining financial responsibility, building sales and helping manage the restaurant’s budget. This person will also be responsible for ensuring safety and security standards are emphasized and adhered to, maintaining cleaning and sanitation standards within the restaurant and ensuring employees are paid properly, receive appropriate benefits, and are prepared for additional career opportunities.

Qualifications:
  • The Assistant General Manager should make themselves available to the restaurant at all times
  • The Assistant General Manager must be extremely guest orientated with the highest degree of honesty and integrity 
  • A strong understanding of restaurant P&L statements is required for the Assistant General Manager
  • A true desire to mentor and develop others is a trait the Assistant General Manager must posses
  • High volume experience of 3+ years as a Assistant General Manager is a must for this position
