Assistant General Manager
Salary up to $65,000, depending upon experience
We are searching for an Assistant General Manager for our classy casual restaurant! Are you a natural-born leader with a passion for customer satisfaction and a strong desire to mentor and develop others? If so, we want you!
We offer a competitive salary and full benefits including medical, dental, visual, 401k match, and paid time off. As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a critical role in driving profitability and ensuring the overall success of the operation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent support to the success of the operation: As the Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the restaurant run smoothly. You must have the ability to seamlessly manage multiple tasks at once and maintain a calm presence during high-pressure situations.
- Demonstrate trust, honesty, integrity, and a passion for customer satisfaction: It's essential that you exhibit a friendly and approachable demeanor. You must also build and foster a culture of trust, honesty, and integrity among staff and customers.
- Achieve solid financial results and drive profitability: You will oversee and manage the financial performance of the restaurant. It's important that you have experience and knowledge of managing budgets, P&Ls, and payroll.
- Develop and guide team members to maximize their potential: As the Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for developing and guiding team members to reach their full potential.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of Assistant General Manager experience in high-volume full-service dining establishments: This experience is essential as it will enable you to understand the challenges and nuances of running a successful full service restaurant.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills: As the Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and mentoring the entire team. Therefore, you must have excellent leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently. You should be well-organized to handle multiple tasks and make sure that the team remains focused.
- Adept at managing and driving financial performance: You must have a solid understanding of financial reports, budgeting, and forecasting in order to make informed business decisions to drive profitability for the restaurant.
- A true desire to mentor and develop others: As an Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for developing and nurturing a culture of growth and development among team members.
