Location: Abilene, TX
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 annually, plus quarterly bonuses of up to $500

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Kitchen Operations: Assist in managing food preparation, execution of menu items, and daily kitchen activities to ensure efficiency.
- Maintain Quality Standards: Uphold high standards in food quality, presentation, and consistency to create outstanding dining experiences.
- Lead the Team: Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff while fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
- Manage Costs and Inventory: Oversee inventory, food orders, and waste control to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure Compliance: Enforce food safety, health regulations, and company policies, maintaining a safe and effective workspace.
- Support Leadership: Work alongside the Kitchen Manager to streamline operations, resolve challenges, and implement improvements.
Qualifications
We’re seeking a motivated culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow. Key qualifications include:
- Experience: 2-4 years in kitchen management or supervisory roles in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of food preparation, team leadership, food cost controls, and inventory management.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven track record of motivating and guiding teams under pressure.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask with a results-oriented mindset and attention to detail.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Certification: ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification is required.
