Title of Position: Assistant Kitchen Manager

Job Description: The Assistant Kitchen Manager is responsible for delivering results and for supporting the restaurant and management team by making sure certain food is prepared and served to standard. The Assistant Kitchen Manager must have the ability to multi-task while managing day-to-day operations of the restaurant such as inventory, people, hiring, training and development. The Assistant Kitchen Manager will provide direction and coaching for all BOH team members including food preparation, production, and safety and sanitation.  The Assistant Kitchen Manager in this position will help order all supplies for the restaurant and will ensure proper staffing levels by recruiting, interviewing, and hiring talented team members.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of kitchen management experience in a high-volume atmosphere is a must for the Kitchen Manager
• A true desire to mentor and develop others is a trait the Assistant Kitchen Manager must possess
• The Assistant Kitchen Manager must be able to demonstrate honesty and integrity inside and outside of the workplace and always strive for 100% customer satisfaction
• Open availability is a requirement for the Assistant Kitchen Manager
