Title of Position: Assistant Manager

Job Description: As an Assistant Manager at our sports bar, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our daily operations. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the restaurant, from training and leading employees to achieving company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance and sanitation. This includes managing cash and receipts, making employment decisions, filling in where needed to maintain high guest service standards and efficient operations, developing staff through ongoing training initiatives, preparing necessary paperwork in a timely manner and enforcing company policies regarding employee performance. Additionally, you will be expected to stay up-to-date on federal, state and municipal regulations concerning health, safety and labor requirements. You will also be tasked with ensuring that all inventory is received, verified for quality and quantity, and properly stored according to the restaurant's receiving policies, maintaining optimal stock levels to support our menu offerings.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Strong communication skills and fluency in the predominant language(s) of the restaurant's trading area
• Minimum of three years experience in front-of-the-house operations or assistant management positions
• Excellent math skills and ability to operate a cash register or POS system
• Ability to work up to 60 hours per week, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
