Title of Position: Assistant Manager
Job Description: The Assistant Manager sets the standard for service expectations by overseeing every aspect of the guest experience from start to finish, positively coaches and councils’ staff to achieve the highest quality of service in all areas of the restaurant. The Assistant Manager must demonstrate skill and care when selecting, scheduling, training, developing, mentoring, and managing team members. As an Assistant Manager you will spend more than 50% of your time performing managerial duties and must exercise independent judgment and discretion on matters of conflict in the restaurant.
We are seeking an Assistant Manager Restaurant to join our team! You will be responsible for providing customers with a memorable dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all culinary activities
- Oversee guest services and resolve issues
- Ensure a high quality of ingredients and food preparation
- Train and manage kitchen personnel
- Create and adjust staff schedules to meet restaurant needs
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
- Previous experience in food service or other related fields
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
