Title of Position: Assistant Manager
Job Description:
Our Assistant Restaurant Manager will do a lot more than just run daily shifts. A large part of our Assistant Restaurant Manager position includes recruiting, training, developing and maintaining a professional staff that will subsequently be responsible for exceptional customer service and will themselves become brand ambassadors for our company, promoting the values of our concept. It will be the Assistant Manager, alongside the General Manager who establishes the precedent starting from the top down as our brand ambassador. The Assistant Restaurant Manager in this position will also be responsible for all administrative and financial responsibilities delegated by the General Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Open availability is a requirement for the Assistant Restaurant Manager
  • The Assistant Restaurant Manager must be able to demonstrate honesty and integrity inside and outside of the work place and always strive for 100% customer satisfaction
  • A strong understanding of restaurant P&L statements is required for the Assistant Restaurant Manager
  • The Assistant Restaurant Manager must be passionate about and thrive on the development and mentoring of others
  • 2 plus years of restaurant management experience in a high volume atmosphere is a must for the Assistant Restaurant Manager

Craig brings 27 years of restaurant operations experience to the table, ranging from family style to upscale dining. Craig has served on training, opening, menu & kitchen development teams for multiple concepts. Beginning as a server out of high school with Copper Cellar’s Calhoun’s, Craig worked his way to Kitchen Manager within three years. After relocating to South Carolina, Craig served as Kitchen Manager, General Manager and Corporate Chef of Café Enterprises Fatz Café. Craig acted as Steward of Greenville’s award winning City Range Steakhouse Grill for 5 years before being recruited to run a new upscale catering company, where he acted as both General Manager and Sous Chef. Following a move to Georgia with his family, Craig worked at Atlanta’s very own TacoMac- a high volume casual dining concept- where he served as Kitchen Manager, Manager and Corporate Trainer for over six years.
