Title of Position: Assistant Restaurant Manager

Job Description: The Assistant Restaurant Manager plays an essential role and ensures excellence in quality and service throughout the restaurant during their shift. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will assist with the financial responsibility for labor cost, inventory, and cash procedures on a daily basis. Our Assistant Restaurant Manager will encourage and assist in continuing the growth and development of all team members and would support the General Manager with setting and achieving store goals and assisting with the hiring of quality staff members and their retention. Training and motivating a skilled culinary and service staff will be among the functions of our Assistant Restaurant Manager. Our Assistant Restaurant Manager will also maintain a professional and enjoyable atmosphere for the staff. Assisting with developing and supervising the roll-out of new menu items as well as developing your team and encouraging their career advancement within our restaurant is another function of our Assistant Restaurant Manager. Possessing outstanding leadership and people skills will allow consistent communication and ensure our front and back of house are working together to provide our guests with the food and service they expect.

Qualifications:

  • Two plus years of management experience in a high volume atmosphere is a must for the Assistant Restaurant Manager
  • A requirement for the Assistant Restaurant Manager is a true passion for the development and mentoring of others
  • The Assistant Restaurant Manager must be proficient in achieving solid financial results
  • Honesty, integrity and a love for customer satisfaction are all qualities that the Assistant Restaurant Manager should possess
  • The Assistant Restaurant Manager should always be able to provide consistent support to the success of the operation
