Title of Position- Assistant Restaurant Manager

Job Responsibilities: The Assistant Restaurant Manager is in charge of the management of the restaurant's daily operations. Our Assistant Restaurant Manager is also responsible assisting in the preparation of operational budgets, achieving sales and profit levels, ensure food quality, guest service and satisfaction. The Assistant Restaurant Manager provides motivation and direction to the staff, ensuring execution of all positions, responsibilities, and tasks in order to provide our guests with a remarkable experience and quality product. As a member of the management team, you will lead by example and coach our team to protect the brand by maintaining a sanitary, safe, respectful and quality work environment while successfully managing operational costs. Our Assistant Restaurant Manager will also work closely with the General Manager to maintain a sufficient amount of well- trained productive employees by assisting in team development and performance management. Responsibilities also consist of facility management with regards to preventative maintenance of equipment and repairs to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • The Assistant Restaurant Manager should possess 2+ years of high volume restaurant management experience
  • The Assistant Restaurant Manager should have excellent comprehension of restaurant operational controls and financial statements
  • The Assistant Restaurant Manager should have a proven track record of achieving financial results
  • A high degree of honesty, integrity, and guest orientated philosophy is a must for the Assistant Restaurant Manager
  • The Assistant Restaurant Manager should have excellent management skills (organized, able to set priorities, plan, make decisions) and leadership skills (demonstrated ability to cause constructive change, people motivator, great communicator, role model, delegator)

Craig has served on training, opening, menu & kitchen development teams for multiple concepts. Beginning as a server out of high school with Copper Cellar’s Calhoun’s, Craig worked his way to Kitchen Manager within three years. After relocating to South Carolina, Craig served as Kitchen Manager, General Manager and Corporate Chef of Café Enterprises Fatz Café. Craig acted as Steward of Greenville’s award winning City Range Steakhouse Grill for 5 years before being recruited to run a new upscale catering company, where he acted as both General Manager and Sous Chef. Following a move to Georgia with his family, Craig worked at Atlanta’s very own TacoMac- a high volume casual dining concept- where he served as Kitchen Manager, Manager and Corporate Trainer for over six years.
