Title of Position: Assistant Manager
Job Description: The Assistant Manager will be responsible for all daily functions of the restaurant. Ensuring guest satisfaction in addition to maintaining a positive and encouraging atmosphere for the hourly personnel will be the responsibility of the Assistant Manager. It s essential for the Assistant Manager to lead by example and ensure compliance with company standards and policies as well as state a health regulation. The Assistant Manager must maintain an open line of communication between hourly personnel and the General Manager. The Assistant Manager will show enthusiasm and desire to grow and expand knowledge of administrative functions to maintain the restaurants profitability. These functions will include but are not limited to controlling food and labor costs, vendor communications, scheduling and P&L budgeting. The Assistant Manager must possess the ability to quickly and efficiently resolve any issues that may arise during any shift. The ideal Assistant Manager has the ability to think quickly and solve problems in a hectic environment.
