Our Company is searching for an experienced Bakery/Pastry Area Manager to lead our team in the New production facility opening and 4 bakeries. The Bakery/Pastry Area Manager will lead the team and oversee the day-to-day responsibilities of the new facility and 4 bakeries including all aspects of the guest experience, motivating and developing the team to create a uniquely warm and positive environment. The successful candidate will be a natural leader, have experience in the development of recipes, and be detail-oriented with a positive can-do approach, strong interpersonal skills, and a work ethic. 80% of this role will be in the development of all aspects of the operation. More info: The Bakery/Pastry Chef Area Manager will need to have prior baking or pastry experience. Menu creation and staff development experience are a plus. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: recruiting, training, mentoring, and developing the highest quality culinary team available. The Bakery/Pastry Area Manager will be responsible for making sure all equipment sanitation and maintenance programs are in place and being followed. Communication is key, and effectively delegate such tasks appropriately and diligently, following the strictest standards and procedures set in place. The Bakery/Pastry Area Manager must be able to implement recipe standards and menu design.
