Title of Position: Banquet Manager

Job Responsibilities: Our Banquet Manager will execute Banquet Event Orders to ensure functions run smoothly and direct their team to ensure the best experience. The Banquet Manager will work closely with the Supervisor to ensure successful event execution, while overseeing employee breaks, set-up and breakdown, and clearly understand the expectations of the Banquet Server position.  The Banquet Manager is also responsible for interviewing, hiring and training of all banquet and contract labor staff, conducting monthly department meetings, and scheduling all banquet employees within the approved budget. The Banquet Manager will work to provide a safe, healthy environment for all guests and fellow associates.

Qualifications:

  • Our Banquet Manager must have previous Banquet Manager/Event Coordinator experience leading a team in a conference center setting
  • Trust, honesty, integrity and a true passion for customer satisfaction is a requirement for the Banquet Manager
  • The Banquet Manager must be hard-working and energetic
  • Knowledge of industry trends is necessary for the Banquet Manager
  • The Banquet Manager must have experience with both corporate business conferences/ meetings and weddings
