Title of Position: Bar Manager
Job Description: With a substantial collection of wines and extremely rare spirits it’s required that our Bar Manager has an ample knowledge and ability to enhance our guests dining experience with perfectly paired beverages The Bar Manager in this position will ensure their team executes stellar customer service at all times, will set high standards for service and hospitality and will act as an ambassador for our brand in and outside of the restaurant. Our Bar Manager will be responsible for recruiting, training and managing functions of the bar personnel. Our Bar Manager will have exceptional personal skills and will make themselves accessible for the staff to address questions or concerns. The Bar Manager will conduct liquor inventories and be responsible for product ordering as well as bar budgets and assisting in organizing special events and promotions.

- Minimum of 3+ years current experience as a Restaurant Manager in a high volume (over $5m per year in sales) Full Service concept
- Experience working in scratch kitchens and with Executive Chefs
- Ability to increase sales and build rapport in the community
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Hands-on with hiring, training, and developing hourly employees
- Excellent work ethic and drive to succeed
- In-depth knowledge of current HR laws and best practices
- Restaurant Manager candidates must be proficient with financials (P&L's, inventory, food/labor cost, etc.)

Throughout Rob's management career, he has been fortunate enough to work for some top level companies in the industry such as Houston's, Champps, Hard Rock Cafe, and PF Chang's / Pei Wei. Rob made the transition over to the recruiting side of the business with Gecko Hospitality in 2005. Rob is responsible for the Southern California area for Gecko Hospitality. When not working, Rob likes to spend as much time as possible being outside enjoying the lifestyle that Southern California offers, spending time with his 3 daughters. Rob is big MI State and Detroit sports fan.
