Chief Bread Baker Wanted! Start Immediately
Our full-service, year-round bakery and restaurant is on the lookout for a skilled and creative Head Bread Baker who thrives in a high-volume, dynamic environment. If you have a passion for baking and excel under pressure, we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative and exciting bread recipes.
- Supervise the production of 10-12 varieties of fresh bread daily.
- Ensure all products meet our high-quality standards.
- Order and manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies.
- Train and manage the bread-baking staff.
- Maintain compliance with food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, staff, and management.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, inventory, and production levels.
- Troubleshoot issues related to baking or staff performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bread baker or head baker.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques.
- Ability to create and modify recipes.
- Experience in managing a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Culinary school diploma or Baking and Pastry Arts certification is a plus.

Working Hours: Midnight to 9 AM/10 AM daily. The head baker must be comfortable with these hours.
Salary: Based on experience and qualifications.
