Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work during peak hours, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to walk, stand, and occasionally carry heavy items in a fast-paced, stressful environment
• Previous Store Management experience in a coffee shop or café, with sales volume of at least $2 Million a year. Union experience is a plus

Job Responsibilities:

As the Store Manager, Coffee Concept, your work environment will be a retail/food services setting where your main goal will be to establish and maintain outstanding guest services. You will:

• Implement guest service standards
• Analyze and measure business trends to maximize sales and meet/exceed goals
• Manage and minimize expenses and payroll costs
• Plan and assign daily goals, tasks and assignments
• Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels, merchandise presentations; ensure selling floors are adequately stocked
• Review department/store trends and recommend and initiate changes for maximizing goals and objectives
• Train and develop store management in all aspects of the business; direct and monitor training and development for store personnel
• Deal with customer service – answering customer questions, totaling price and tax on merchandise, accepting payment and making change, etc.
• Keep record of sales, prepare inventory of stock and order merchandise
• Set up advertising displays or arrange merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales
• Keep the unit clean and orderly

This Store Manager, Coffee Concept position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work but offers no travel requirements. As the Store Manager, Coffee Concept, you will manage all employees within your location and will be responsible for their performance management and hiring.
