Job Opportunity: Catering Manager - Restaurants (Durham, NC)
Are you an experienced catering professional ready to take your career to the next level? A local restaurant group in Durham, NC, is seeking a Catering Manager to join our team and help us deliver exceptional experiences to our clients while enjoying a balanced, rewarding work environment.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee all aspects of catering operations, from initial intake of catering requests to successful event execution.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through meetings, sales interactions, and excellent service.
- Coordinate schedules, bookings for venues, and preferred vendors effectively.
- Manage outside marketing efforts to grow catering sales leads.
- Handle administrative needs such as contracts, scheduling, and ensuring seamless execution of events.
- Provide hands-on oversight at events, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 3+ years as a Catering Manager, preferably within a restaurant setting.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. A proven track record of managing multiple clients, events, and team members simultaneously.
- Attitude: A proactive, customer-focused mindset that thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

- Compensation: Competitive salary ($50,000 - $55,000), with a commission structure based on catering sales.

Natural progression from an entry-level role to a Service Manager and quickly becoming a crucial training and standards champion for one of the company's highest-grossing locations. Her ability was recognized as she was entrusted to oversee more than 20 locations, holding monthly marketing calls, site visits, and launching of new account locations.

Outside of her professional sphere, Adele's life is enriched by her two sons and their shared love for sports.
