Catering Event Specialist
Job Description: Our Catering Event Specialist plays a dynamic role in our business by assisting our customers. We plan, host and execute catered functions at our Partner venue in Philadelphia by arranging to have our menu items, heating equipment and relevant supplies and decorations prepared for the event. This professional will meet with the customer to organize the details of the function and will ensure operational compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving. The Catering Event Specialist will report the progress of the caterings to the General Manager and Owner as needed and will be responsible for coordinating with additional departments and will investigate and resolve issues regarding food quality or service.

Qualifications:
- The Catering Event Specialist must have high volume restaurant management experience of at least 3 years.
- A passion for mentoring and developing others is a must for the Catering Event Specialist
- A solid track record in achieving financial results is a must for the Catering Event Specialist
- The Catering Event Specialist must be extremely guest orientated with the highest degree of honesty and integrity
- The Catering Event Specialist should always make themselves available to the restaurant

Matt Bodnar began his career by quickly identifying himself has an up-and-coming Hospitality Operations Leader. From 2013 to 2018, he managed small and large-scale events on Yachts in New York Harbor, oversaw Concession-style service in a sports arena, and managed Food & Beverage at an upscale, boutique hotel in Manhattan, before moving to Philadelphia and entrenching himself in the Philly food scene.
