A Day in the Life of a Director of Catering:
As our Director of Catering, you will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating all aspects of catering operations, from crafting customized menus to overseeing event execution. You'll work with both internal teams and external clients to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and continual growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing innovative catering strategies.
  • Creating one-of-a-kind, top-notch corporate dining experiences.
  • Ensuring quality control, safety, and hygienic standards are met.
  • Supervising, guiding, and mentoring staff and vendors.
  • Generating new business through targeted marketing efforts.
  • Leading and participating in pre-event and post-event meetings.

Requirements for Success:
To qualify for the Director of Catering role, candidates must possess:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in catering management, preferably within corporate dining.
  • Proven track record of designing, planning, and executing successful events.
  • Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and experience managing budgets.
  • Solid understanding of culinary techniques and food trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for events and client meetings.

Tim has also worked for Walt Disney World as a Chef as well as time spent early in his restaurant career in catering for a country club.
