Title of Position: Chef/ Director of Food and Beverage

Job Description: The Chef/Director of Food and Beverage is responsible for the overall quality of the food and beverage service in our Full-Service Hotel. This position works with a team to create menus, supervise kitchen operations, ensure compliance with health codes, manage budgets, oversee food preparation staff, and lead customer service initiatives. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain high standards for cleanliness, safety, and sanitation as well as ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction. The position involves cost control initiatives and budget management while ensuring product quality throughout all food offerings. Additionally, the Chef/Director of Food and Beverage is responsible for training and supervising kitchen staff on proper techniques to prepare high-quality meals, observing employee performance, ensuring staff compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, and maintaining records of daily production. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in order to effectively manage personnel, oversee inventory, ensure quality control standards are met throughout the department, and work closely with other hotel departments to meet guests expectations.

Qualifications:

• The Chef/Director of Food and Beverage must have culinary experience 

• The ability to manage and supervise a diverse team is required for the Chef/Director of Food and Beverage

• The Chef/Director of Food and Beverage must have extensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude is required for the Chef/Director of Food and Beverage

• The Chef/Director of Food and Beverage must have food and beverage director experience
