Title of Position – Chef de Cuisine / Executive Sous Chef
Job Description: The Chef de Cuisine is accountable to the Corporate Executive Chef and oversees the daily operations of a single kitchen. As the primary authority on a day-to-day basis, the Chef de Cuisine manages all food preparation staff, including the Sous Chef, Pastry Chef, and Fry Cooks. This role encompasses human resource, financial, and administrative responsibilities related to direct reports. Furthermore, the ideal candidate collaborates closely with the Corporate Executive Chef to ensure that culinary standards are consistently upheld. A Professional Chef de Cuisine should be prepared to handle all aspects of the Executive Chef’s duties in their absence. This position requires a strong partnership with the Corporate Executive Chef to promote the company's culture, mission, and philosophy effectively.

Qualifications:
·        The Chef de Cuisine / Executive Sous Chef must have high volume restaurant management experience of at least 3 years
·        A passion for mentoring and developing others is a must for the Chef de Cuisine / Executive Sous Chef
·        The Chef de Cuisine / Executive Sous Chef must be bilingual in English and Spanish
·        The Chef de Cuisine / Executive Sous Chef must be extremely guest orientated with the highest degree of honesty and integrity
