Our family of companies needs a high-energy, strategic thinker with a strong financial background and great people leadership skills to join our team on the Oregon Coast.
We are a high-growth company with 400+ employees and 30 years of history in development and operation of a unique and synergistic group of properties, including brewpubs and production brewery, hotels, coffee + bakery facility, and vacation home subdivisions. Within our ever-expanding family of companies, you’ll have an opportunity to provide oversight and refinement for existing operations as well as assist in the planning and execution of new projects.
You will lead a team of professionals and act as a trusted coach and mentor to our entire group. This position will oversee accounting, human resources, IT, and maintenance teams. Alongside our Founders and CEO, you will participate in all aspects of our group of companies, including the assessment and planning of new projects, obtaining and nurturing financial partners and investor groups, and growth/development of operational teams.

Michael Chamberlain-Torres joined Gecko Hospitality in 2014. He is a dedicated and diversely equipped hospitality professional. Michael has worked with the J.W. Marriott, Double Tree by Hilton, and Wingate by Wyndham hotels, holding leadership positions in both the Rooms and F&B Divisions. He aims to build lasting relationships with clients and to give back to the community.
To compliment his industry experience, Michael holds a BSBA from The University of Denver (Major: Hospitality Management). He is also a Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) and Certified Guest Service Professional (CGSP).
Hospitality and Tourism are both his personal and professional passions. He is an avid traveler who has visited over 50 countries. He enjoys cultural exchange, SCUBA, and gardening.
Michael assists Kevin Kalstad with our offices in the Pacific Northwest. He has been recognized by Gecko as a Top Performer on multiple occasions and is currently focusing on our Hotel/Resort/Private Club clients.
