Director Of Prepared Foods
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Director of Prepared/Grab&Go Foods to lead our large culinary team and oversee all aspects of our prepared foods department. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of food trends, excellent leadership, and managerial skills, and a passion for creating high-quality and innovative prepared food offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the prepared foods department's growth and profitability
- Lead and inspire a team of culinary staff to maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Oversee menu development, including new product ideation, recipe creation, and cost analysis
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, as well as regulatory requirements
- Manage departmental budget, including cost control and P&L responsibility
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior culinary leadership role, preferably in the prepared foods or food service industry
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated success in driving sales and profitability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of food trends, culinary techniques, and food production processes
- Catalog of recipes
- organized and detailed
