Title of Position: Director of Safety and Security

Job Description:

The Director of Safety and Security Provides the overall security posture, vision, problem anticipation and problem solving at the director level. The Director of Safety and Security Facilitates property workers compensation program. The Director of Safety and Security ensures 4 Keys is practiced with all guest interactions. The Director of Safety and Security Drives the implementation of a solid security front/safety structure (including OSHA, policies, protocols, staff, systems, and resources) that. Develops and implements a hotel-wide strategy to ensure the security, safety and well-being of our guest and hosts as well as the on-going sustainability of our business.

Qualifications:

• The Director of Safety and Security must function as an agent of change with regard to compliance with appropriate health, safety and sustainability regulations.
• The Director of Safety and Security will ensure the safety of staff and property throughout the hotel.
• The Director of Safety and Security must be able to take an active role on the disaster recovery.
• The Director of Safety and Security must work with the HR and Legal to develop policies and procedures to monitor and respond to the situations and communicate to impacted hosts.
• The Director of Safety and Security will work in collaboration with the Corporate IT department as needed.
