Responsibilities:
As our Foodservice Director, you will:
Oversee all aspects of foodservice operations for our contract accounts, ensuring top-notch service and customer satisfaction
Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients, including industry leaders such as Aramark, Sodexo, and higher-ed institutions
Collaborate with internal teams to create innovative menus, promotions, and special events that align with client objectives and excite our customers
Manage budgets, P&L, and financial performance for assigned accounts
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations
Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing foodservice team
Requirements:
Our ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant Foodservice Director role, preferably within contract foodservice or higher-ed settings
Proven success working with notable brands like Aramark, Sodexo, or similar contract foodservice companies
Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
The ability to thrive independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Proximity to Norfolk, Hampton, or Chesapeake areas of Virginia, as the final location will be determined based on the selected candidate
