Title of Position: Director of Sales
Job Description: Our Director of Sales will be responsible for total revenue and yield strategies, implementation and results including group and transient rooms, group food and beverage, meeting room rentals, local catering, outlet and other revenues. Strategies for the DOS will include market mix, pricing, status, direct sales, marketing, and acquisition status and results. The DOS will be responsible for maximizing profitability for the hotel and outstanding quality service for the customers. The DOS will be accountable to market performance as well as budget, forecast, and target goals as well as participating in total hotel management as a member of the hotel executive committee. Our DOS will be required to develop rates, group ceilings and deployment strategies through review of competitive data, demand analysis and mix management.

Qualifications:

  • The Director of Sales must have 5-7 years of sales and marketing leadership experience in a similar sized operation
  • The Director of Sales must participate as a team player with other key executive members
  • The Director of Sales must be a leader and role model to all associates
  • Our Director of Sales must possess basic computational abilities as well as have knowledge of computer accounting programs, math skills as well as budgetary analysis capabilities
  • The Director of Sales must have an extensive knowledge of revenue management and Internet booking sources
