Title of Position: Director of Sales

Job Description: As the Director of Sales for our company you will lead the hotel in developing and executing strategic and proactive direct sales efforts. You will need to meet or exceed top-line revenue and RevPar Index goals, along with working with the team on developing and executing a strong pricing and revenue management base. As the Director of Sales you will motivate, evaluate, and review sales personnel; communicate company goals and objectives. Hotel Sales experience is a must. The Director of Sales must have an outgoing personality and great people skills. Attention to detail and organization and having the knowledge of local area and contacts is preferred. As the Director of Sales you must have full-service brand experience.

 

Qualifications:

  • The Director of Sales should always be able to provide consistent support to the success of the operation
  • Trust, honesty, integrity and a true passion for customer satisfaction is a requirement for the Director of Sales
  • The Director of Sales must be proficient in achieving solid financial results
  • A true desire to mentor and develop others is a trait the Director of Sales must have
  • A Director of Sales must have proven sales experience of 3+ years

His career started as a Bellman with the Garden Plaza Hotel and he was quickly promoted to Front Office Manager soon after graduating. He enjoyed being involved in the renovation and conversion of the Garden Plaza to Doubletree by Hilton. He earned several Hilton certifications including System 21/On Q and Revenue Manager. Eric accelerated his career with some of the top brands in the hotel industry, advancing through the ranks as an Executive Housekeeper, Director of Sales, Assistant General Manager and then rapidly to General Manager!
