Title of Position: Director of Sales and Marketing 

Job Responsibilities: The Director of Sales and Marketing leads the Sales Department to deliver brilliant guest service each day by championing our 6 X’s Hotter Service Philosophy. The Director of Sales creates a welcoming, playful, and thoughtful service environment by managing assignments, training, coaching, and developing an unparalleled Sales team.  Directing all sales and catering-related activities and marketing efforts for the property, as well as overseeing revenue management is a responsibility of the Director of Sales and Marketing. They will work closely with the General Manager and Executive Chef to sell and market the food and beverage operation, both restaurants and rooftop lounge. The Director of Sales in Marketing will maximize and enhance room revenues to meet and exceed the hotel’s revenue and GOP objectives. Manage and develop a team of Directors, Managers and Catering Sales. Build solid relationships with local companies, creating innovative means for attracting and retaining groups while maximizing profitability and generating revenue. Works closely with Department Heads to run a successful overall hotel operation and sets tone for professionalism and high-end customer service throughout the hotel.

  1. The Director of Sales and Marketing should always be able to provide consistent support to the success of the operation 
  2. Trust, honesty, integrity and a true passion for customer satisfaction is a requirement for the Director of Sales and Marketing 
  3. The Director of Sales and Marketing must be proficient in achieving solid financial results 
  4. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred for the Director of Sales and Marketing
  5. A Director of Sales and Marketing must have proven sales experience of 3+ years
