District Manager - $120K +

Exciting new concept coming to the East Bay, with plans for 8-10 stores in the coming years. Excellent chance to get in on the ground floor with this great team.                                                                         

The District Manager will help with both strategic and tactical areas of the business. The ideal candidate will have experience leading multi-unit stores or General Manager with 5+ years of experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry, as you will be responsible for ensuring area-wide guest satisfaction and measuring the financial performance of all the locations in your area. Responsibilities

•        Strategic and people management

•        Develop the store management team within the area to deliver premier guest experiences in all stores.

•        Drive the implementation of company programs to meet operational and organizational objectives both in each location and that will help the business scale.

·        Review store environments and key business indicators within the area to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.

•        Utilize management information tools and analyze financial reports to identify and address trends and issues within the area's performance.

•        Create area implementation plans to support the execution of company initiatives.

•        Solicit feedback to understand guest needs and the local community's needs.

•        Monitor and manage area-wide management staffing levels.

•        Manage with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote our brand's culture, values, and mission.

Tactical Execution

•        Work hands-on in each location to model desired behaviors, understand the employee experience, and be able to fill in during an emergency.

•        Responsibility for training and developing teams; Coaching employees and planning for succession on a team.

•        Plan, identify, communicate, and delegate key responsibilities and practices to the store management team.

Catering

·        Create marketing campaigns to drive the catering business.

·        Create execution plans for high-touch and efficient catering operations.

·        Oversee catering operations as needed, including taking orders and assisting with deliveries when necessary.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements 

•        5+ years' experience in food service industry/quick service restaurant

•        Experience in a multi-unit environment, 3+ years preferred or the equivalent of 5+ years as a high-performing General Manager.

•        Thorough knowledge of performance metrics, product specifications and management systems

•        Experience in a complex, fast-paced environment

•        Strong Organization, prioritization, and planning skills

•        Strong operational skills in a guest-service environment

•        Ability to manage the overall operations of multiple stores independently

•        Knowledge of restaurant industry operations - food preparation, production and delivery

•        Must travel to designated stores and work with the management team regularly

•        Ability to work a variable work schedule from week to week, including weekends, holidays, evenings, etc. as required

•        Must pass background check criteria

•        Valid driver's license required

•        Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 30 - 50 pounds

•        Be able to work in a standing position for pro-longed periods of time
