Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Events & Dining Room Manager to lead and elevate our Food & Beverage (F&B) operations. This new role presents a unique opportunity to join a historic club known for hosting prestigious golf tournaments and memorable events. We are looking for individuals with strong F&B backgrounds from hotel, private club, resort, or restaurant industries.
Key Responsibilities
· Event Management: Plan, promote, and execute a wide range of member events, from weddings and holiday parties to intimate gatherings, ensuring high standards of member engagement and satisfaction.
· Collaboration: Work closely with the Executive Chef to craft banquet menus and ensure seamless coordination between kitchen and dining services.
· Team Leadership: Assist in hiring, training, and developing a highly skilled F&B team. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
· Visibility & Engagement: Be the face of F&B, ensuring an exceptional experience for members and guests.
· Operational Excellence: Oversee all dining areas to ensure smooth operations while maintaining high levels of quality food products and service.
· Financial Management: Assist in preparing and monitoring annual budgets and revenue goals, contributing to business volume forecasts and strategic planning.
· Safety Practices: Incorporate safe work practices in daily job performance and ensure compliance with club policies.
Job Requirements
· Flexibility: Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Responsible for closing and securing the club on multiple days.
· Physical Demands: Capable of moving dining room furniture for event setups and being on feet for extended periods.
· Technical Skills: Ability to quickly learn and efficiently use computer software systems, including Jonas Encore for event management.
· Problem Solving: Utilize resources effectively to address questions and solve problems promptly.
Qualifications
· Education: A two- or four-year degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
· Experience: 3-5 years as a manager in club dining, restaurant, or high-volume F&B operations is required.
· Skills: Strong leadership skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and team development.
Salary and Benefits
· Compensation: $80,000 - $85,000 annually
· Benefits: Healthcare, 401(k) with matching, educational allowance, and paid vacation.
