Executive Chef – Sports and Entertainment Venues
Raleigh, NC
Salary $70K - $85K + Bonuses

It’s all about the food! The Executive Chef is the leader for all things culinary at the location - from setting the menu standards to training team members and being the face of the culinary program. This position will directly manage all culinary aspects. Food is a central part of the guest experience and the Executive chef is the visionary behind that food. The ideal candidate will be an experienced food and beverage leader. The Executive Chef will provide hands-on leadership to ensure high performance, proficient operations, and delivers culinary creations that exceed guest expectations.
Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute event menus for a variety of sporting events including hospitality suites, club areas, and concessions.
  • Proactively coaching and motivating team members to deliver their best
  • Working closely with the purchasing and finance teams to develop an offer that delivers financially and delights our guests
  • Support efforts to drive revenue by participating in social media activities
  • Creating and distributing team members schedules in line with revenue forecasts
  • Overseeing menu design and updates in line with food trends and internal data, cost of goods, and popularity
  • Creation of menu build diagrams
  • Creation of customized group sales/event menus in partnership with the sales teams
  • Delivering training and coaching to team members on both the menu and general culinary skills
  • Management of culinary department budget
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements
  • 5+ years of culinary leadership in Sports & Entertainment Hospitality Operations, F&B, Operations Management – Experience in high volume stadiums or special events is necessary
  • Knowledge of budget management, labor, and food costs.
  • A culinary degree, or equivalent in work history is preferred
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Passion for hospitality, food, and retail

She worked her way up from an entry level position to a Service Manager and her supervisor wanted her at the highest volume location in the company. During her time there she was appointed as the mentor of the FOH training program, as well as supporting the training for four other locations. She was the mentor in her spare time while she helped open new locations! She said “Who needs rest! I’m busy!” She was the point person for new restaurant opening staffing. Interviews, interviews and more interviews! She understands the urgency that surrounds the hiring process. She then worked for a Food Services Contract Company as a Retail Services Manager. Always driving for success she gained skills in menu development, retail design, and marketing. Once again, she was called on to support over 20 locations by hosting monthly marketing calls, site visits, and opening new account locations.

Over the years, Adele has never lost focus service. She is passionate about her work and will do what it takes to always provide the very best service by going above and beyond. Her management style is fair, inclusive, and business minded. She has a strong attention to detail and enjoys helping others achieve their goals.

Adele is married with two sons. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching her kids play sports on the weekends, and cooking with her husband.
