Job Title: Executive Chef Location: Columbia, SC Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 plus bonus and benefits
Are you ready to bring your culinary expertise to a dynamic and fun atmosphere? We are currently seeking an experienced and creative Executive Chef to join our team in Columbia, SC. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity in both a restaurant and event space setting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including menu creation, food preparation and presentation.
- Ensure the highest quality of food and service for our restaurant and event guests.
- Maintain inventory and manage food costs effectively.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Develop new dishes and menus in line with the latest market trends.
- Collaborate with our management team to plan and execute events.
- Manage kitchen budget and ensure efficient use of supplies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or relevant role in the hospitality industry.
- Creativity and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes.
- Exceptional understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
- Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment.
