Job Description

A successful Executive Chef will possess over six years of experience managing kitchen operations in high-volume, upscale restaurants. You should bring a deep passion for culinary arts and a commitment to engaging with the local community. Your primary responsibility will be to source the highest quality ingredients to create unforgettable dishes that delight our guests.

In your capacity as Executive Chef, you will foster staff development and promote a positive atmosphere for both employees and guests, aligning with P&L objectives. You will oversee all kitchen operations, effectively managing problem resolution and communication to ensure seamless task completion. As a brand ambassador, you will authentically embody Internal Hospitality, striving to create memorable dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create Experiences: Lead your team in crafting dishes that leave lasting impressions, championing internal hospitality.
  • Inspire Your Team: Cultivate a culture of creativity, collaboration, and innovation within your kitchen.
  • Hands-On Leadership: Actively engage with your team on the line, demonstrating your passion for cooking.
  • Oversee Operations: Collaborate with the General Manager and brand leaders to optimize kitchen operations. Ensure quality control, manage inventory, comply with health and safety standards, and play a vital role in overseeing labor, budgets, and forecasts.

Qualifications:

  • Flexibility: Your schedule may vary based on seasonality and operational demands, generally encompassing 50 to 55 hours per week.
  • Servant Leadership: Commitment to serving team members and guests alike.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A hands-on approach, driven by a genuine passion for cooking, rather than a detached management style.
  • Scratch Kitchens: Experience working with local farmers to procure fresh produce and deliver quality dishes.
  • Accountability: A strong understanding of financial management, labor efficiency, quality control, and a results-driven mindset.
