Join the prestigious culinary scene at our renowned self-operated golf club in Manchester, NH as an Executive Chef. Recognized for exceptional dining experiences and a strong community presence, we offer a competitive salary of up to $85K plus benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Menu Development: Craft inventive, seasonally-inspired menus in collaboration with the owner to deliver outstanding culinary offerings.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Lead, supervise, and inspire a talented kitchen team, ensuring smooth daily operations and high culinary standards.
- Maintain Standards: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain the kitchen and surrounding areas in pristine condition.
- Financial Acumen: Monitor inventory, control costs, and manage the food and labor budget effectively.
- Innovation: Stay current on industry trends and introduce new culinary techniques and dishes.
Ideal Candidate
We seek a passionate and dedicated individual with:
- Proven success in a high-end kitchen environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A high school diploma or GED, with a culinary degree or a minimum of five years of industry experience.
- A track record of managing and motivating a team while acting as a role model.

Eric Johnson, CCM is a private club specialist with more than two decades of experience in private clubs and hospitality management. Eric specializes in building successful teams to provide unique experiences. He is excited to bring his private club experience and knowledge to his new position as Executive Hospitality Recruiter with Gecko Hospitality, specializing in private club recruitment in the Northeast, USA.
Eric’s most recent position was as the Club Manager at the Locust Hill Country Club in Pittsford, NY and earlier as General Manager and Chief Operating Officer at Skaneateles Country Club in Skaneateles, NY. Eric is a native of Michigan, a graduate of Purdue University School of Hospitality, and began his professional management career with KemperSports Management, with whom he held various food and beverage leadership positions at clubs in Chicago, Maryland, and Colorado.
Eric resides in Western New York with his wife and three children and enjoys spending his free time reading, golfing and exploring the outdoors.
