Upscale Restaurant Executive Chef - New Store Opening $75,000 to $85,000

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Service, Scratch Kitchen Executive Chef for a new concept coming to Nashville. This Chicago based restaurant company is bringing a hip, upscale casual brand that has locations across the eastern U.S. The position will offer a great bonus and benefits package along with advancement opportunities. We are looking to start immediate interviews for this position in Nashville, TN.

This is a very high level position with strict experience requirements so please read carefully. The Executive Chef will partner with the General Manager and will report to the Director of operations and oversee a large management team and staff in a very fast paced and high volume location with a high end scratch kitchen. The Executive Chef in Nashville, TN will be responsible for all hiring, training and development of the BOH staff as well as all financial results related to the procurement and preparation of product as well as labor and kitchen cleanliness and sanitation .


  • A minimum of 5 years as an Executive Chef in high volume full service kitchens
  • An EXCELLENT history of tenure
  • Strong P&L knowledge and experience in driving product quality
  • Development of staff and Sous Chefs
  • High level knowledge of regional and international cuisines and techniques
  • Experience opening new restaurant locations
  • Very high energy
  • Ability to travel for 6 weeks for training
