Title of Position: Executive Chef

Job Description: Our Executive Chef must be detail oriented and highly committed to excellence. The Executive Chef must have great communication skills. As our Executive Chef, you’ll be accountable for all culinary aspects of the business, as well as oversee all Food & Beverage areas of our beautiful resort. Our resort includes banquet facilities, so the Executive Chef will also have to oversee all catering and events. Selecting, coaching and developing an outstanding culinary team will be among the responsibilities of the Executive Chef. The Executive Chef will work for and with the executive team to continually create, develop and enhance the F&B department. This will be done not only with innovative recipes, but standards of guest service and throughout high levels of operations. Maintaining consistently excellent cuisine is also a function of our Executive Chef. The Chef at this location will be required to embrace technology and become innovative with menu items, as well as creative with food preparation. Developing the team to exceed expectations and to abide by all safety and health standards is crucial as our Executive Chef. All back of the house administrative and financial duties will be the responsibility of the Executive Chef.

  • Minimum of 2 years kitchen management experience in a fast-paced environment
  • The Executive Chef must have scratch cooking experience
  • Our Executive Chef must be a self-starter that can take charge of our F&B department
  • The Executive Chef must be able to manage and motivate others while acting as a role model
  • The Executive Chef must possess skills in planning and organizing
  • The Executive Chef must have excellent communication skills and have an ownership mentality of their kitchen
