Title of Position: Executive Chef

Job Responsibilities: The Executive Chef of our resort must be a self-starter, and be able to lead a small team and perform at high levels without direct supervision. The Executive Chef must be a strong culinary leader above all else, and have an interest and desire to source outstanding products. The Executive Chef must be able to create menu options that are catered to certain dietary needs, as well as create different menu items that are unique and seasonal. The Executive Chef will be working in a high volume, fine dining atmosphere as well as working with different events. Strong leadership and communication are a must for the Executive Chef. Our Executive Chef will interact with lodge guests and at times oversee the Front of the House operations. Overall, our Executive Chef must be a strong manager that is willing to constantly learn and grow.

  • The Executive Chef must have 3+ years of related management experience
  • The Executive Chef must be able to develop a menu as well as oversee recipe costing
  • The Executive Chef will have direct oversight of inventory levels and working with vendors and suppliers, so communication skills is a must
  • The Executive Chef must be able to hire, train, schedule, and evaluate effectively
  • The Executive Chef must be responsible, as he/she will be responsible for food safety, handling procedures and cleanliness
