Title of Position: Restaurant Kitchen Manager
Job Description: Our Restaurant Kitchen Manager will be in control of our restaurants' kitchen operations and help continue to grow our consumer brand and loyal customer base. The Restaurant Kitchen Manager must have an exceptionally upbeat attitude and be able to fit in with our very warm environment. Our display kitchens are our center point, therefore cleanliness and appropriate kitchen procedures will be a major priority for you. The Restaurant Kitchen Manager will be coaching and developing kitchen team members. We are passionate about a lot of things, but our people are at the top of the list. Also, you will be responsible for inventory levels, food cost control and BOH labor management.
- Minimum of 3-4 years current experience as a Restaurant Kitchen/BOH Manager in a Full Service or Upscale Casual concept
- High volume background; must have KM experience in restaurants doing over $3 million in sales per year
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Outstanding work ethic and drive to succeed
- Hands-on with hiring, training, and developing hourly employees
- Ability to maintain high levels of food quality, consistency, and hygiene
- Restaurant Kitchen Manager candidates must be proficient with financials (P&L's, inventory, food/labor cost, etc.)

He began in restaurant management with KFC and Little Caesars, became a franchise representative, and spent 14 years with Lone Star Steakhouse, lastly as a District Manager overseeing 8 units. Prior to joining Gecko, Mike was an Area Director of nine locations with Don Pablo's.
