Title of Position: Executive Sous Chef
Job Description:  Our Executive Sous Chef will be the main force behind our menu’ s unique and imaginative appeal by creating dishes tailored to regional tastes and their own talents. The Executive Sous Chef strives to reflect our commitment to culinary excellence by showcasing a vast selection of only the freshest quality seafood. Our commitment to local freshness is apparent in the seasonally inspired dishes and regionally inspired preparations offered. Other Executive Sous Chef duties will include but not be limited to: recruiting, training, mentoring and maintaining the highest quality culinary team available. The right candidate will know how to drive profits through cost analysis and have a strong understanding of P&L.


  • Minimum of 3-5 years current experience as an Executive Sous Chef in a high volume (over $4m per year in sales) Upscale Casual concept
  • Prior experience with large banquets and special events preferred
  • Ability to maintain high levels of food quality, consistency, and hygiene
  • Outstanding  leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong track record of  hiring, training, and developing hourly employees and promoting them through the ranks
  • Excellent work ethic and drive to succeed
  • Executive Sous Chef must be proficient with financials (P&L's, inventory, food/labor cost, etc.)
