Food and Beverage Operations Manager

Job Summary: As the Food and Beverage Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our company's overall strategy for the food and beverage program. Your responsibilities will include establishing and implementing standards across all operations, building strategic vendor relationships, and maximizing profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update, and implement food and beverage standards across all locations
  • Create limited-time offers and regular menu updates to enhance competitiveness and customer satisfaction
  • Review vendor relationships and ensure pricing meets margin standards
  • Identify revenue opportunities and implement strategic plans to maximize profitability
  • Set inventory standards and maintain par levels to minimize waste
  • Oversee F&B promotions and provide ongoing results analysis
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and regulations
  • Manage the ordering process for food and beverages
  • Monitor cost of goods and revenues to align with budget targets
  • Conduct interviews for key F&B positions
  • Adhere to all relevant regulations and standards

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a management role in the food and beverage industry
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant processes and food and beverage control systems
  • Familiarity with government health and food service regulations
  • Previous experience in the food and beverage/culinary space
  • Proven experience in contract tenders and negotiating at a senior level
  • Excellent project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Excel and forecasting tools
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm
  • Ability to travel to different locations regularly
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

  • Travel required to various locations across Canada
  • Office-based work with occasional standing, sitting, and computer usage
