Food Safety Coordinator
Job Description
- Conduct thorough inspections across multiple restaurant locations.
- Collaborate with franchisees and operational teams to address non-compliance issues.
- Deliver comprehensive training sessions to franchisees, staff, and operational teams.
- Manage and follow up on food safety issues using our internal platforms.
- Organize and lead meetings with cross-functional teams to streamline daily operations.
- Support the Food Safety program across Ontario and the Atlantic provinces.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with the Ministries of Public Health.
- A degree or certification in food science.
- Experience working directly with a restaurant banner or franchise restaurant group
- At least one year of experience in restaurant inspection or auditing and restaurant franchise industry experience.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and travel within the Greater Toronto Area and the Maritimes.
- Proficiency in both English and French is preferred.
- Autonomous, self-motivated, and resourceful.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong decision-making abilities.
- Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in delivering effective training and maintaining high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
