Job Title: Front Desk Manager

 

Salary: $60k to $65k

 

Job Description: The Front Desk Manager assists in ensuring that there is a sufficient number of trained staff on duty and that a manager or supervisor covers every shift. This is to ensure that a consistent level of professional service is available to our guests. To see that all the duties and responsibilities of the Front Desk staff are carried out each day, i.e.; handle guest arrivals, departures, room moves and VIP amenities, guest complaints, care of the pool, closing of facilities, guest laundry and dry cleaning, newspapers and all guest related services. This is the only department at the resort with 7/24 operations, as such work flexibility is required, may involve opening shifts, mid shifts, pm shifts and occasionally overnight shifts. The Front Desk Manager must maintain continuous contact with hotel guests to ensure that any problems or complaints are handled quickly, courteously, efficiently and with discretion, keeping in mind the interests of the resort, the hotel, the travel agent and wholesale tour operator.

Qualifications: 

  • Energetic and alert individual must possess good communication skills;
  • Must maintain courteous and professional demeanor with guests and co-workers alike;
  • Must have the ability to meet time deadlines.
  • Able to forecast business demands, and prepare accordingly
  • Able to interact professionally, courteously with guests and team members from all levels of the company
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, organizational skills and the ability to develop staff are required
  • Understand and use various computer systems and office machines

Through the years he has worked with several Destination Resorts and High-End Golf Clubs where he has gained deep experience in a variety of operations.  As a Hospitality General Manager, Jason’s experience in all operating departments is extensive. Jason is a Certified Club Manager (CCM), and a Class ‘A’ PGA Golf Professional.

 

Jason has a wide-ranging background in Food & Beverage operations covering all types and sizes of venues, from poolside casual cafes to luxurious private club dining. He prides himself in building great teams and finding the right fit for the right position.

 

When not working Jason enjoys golf, time with the family at the beach, and the always amazing Hawaii sunsets.
